Alpine Gables Resort Location
Be Prepared
One main attractions of the high country is its weather. In summer it can go from sublime to very chilly in just a matter of hours! You should always carry a jacket and a hat - even on the warmest days in Spring, Summer and Autumn. If you're planning for walking or enjoying activities on the lake, be sure to pack plenty of sunblock. Must-have items year-round are a hat, quality sunglasses, your camera and film. Bring strong shoes for off-the-beaten-track and a day pack to carry all those little extras (perhaps even a bottle of wine for lunch!).
